PT3 NOW! looks at the issues, ideas and strategies of schools of education around the country to retool their teacher preparation programs. PT3 NOW! goes inside colleges and universities and talks with faculty, students and administrators about how they are changing.

Worth the Investment - Watch
We learn about this multidisciplinary and collaborative teaching project. Middle school students in this project make the transition from learning to use technology to using technology to learn. We see students using technology such as PowerPoint and Inspiration to present information about the Lewis and Clark expedition.

Panel Discussion of Worth the Investment - Watch
Our panel of experts discusses the technology rich and student accessible environment of the school, ongoing professional development provided within the project, the progression of students from learners to producers to teachers and the role of evaluation in a collaborative project.

Disseminating Lewis and Clark - Watch
Two student teachers from the University of Montana team teach a fifth grade class using a Lewis and Clark WebQuest developed by a K-12 teacher within the project. The students are working in teams to design boats appropriate for the Lewis and Clark expedition.

Panel Discussion of Disseminating Lewis and Clark - Watch
Our panel of experts discusses how these student teachers took what they learned in their methods courses and implemented it in a classroom lesson with the support of a technology rich school site and a university supervisor.
