Field placements are a critical part of the teacher education program, yet field placement is perceived as the most disconnected piece of the teacher education program. The disconnection is between theory and practice and it is very difficult to control. It involves relationships between the university and the K-12 school, the Methods teachers, the student teachers and the supervising teachers. It is now more complicated because of technology.
